Thunderbirds over Las Vegas for Health Care Workers
LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — The U.S. Air Force Air Demonstration Squadron, also known as the Thunderbirds, plans to honor the frontline coronavirus responders on Saturday with a special flyover.
The Thunderbirds, featuring eight F-16 Fighting Falcons, plan to soar across the Las Vegas skies for about 25 minutes beginning at 2:30 p.m. PDT.
The April 11 flyover is to show appreciation and support for the healthcare workers, first responders and other essential personnel who are combatting COVID-19.
